It's Allie's Birthday!
Yep, she's a 4th of July baby. Unlike Christmas, I bet it's fun to have your birthday today, you grow up thinking all those fireworks are for you.
If you go back a page you'll see I changed the text slightly. Sometimes, when I get the final page in a set, I guess wrong about what panel's coming next.
I love Jasmine's hair in panel three, especially with that cool speckle effect Allie put on it. The hat is a fashion statement, Jasmine is not in the marching band or anything. The backstory (which I cut for the comic) is that Jasmine was actually elected to the homecoming court and didn't show up.
Oh, and if the Damon & Jassy liplock isn't enough warning, this is the point were the story goes into the PG rating.
